Micah Black aka MrBlack, is a mixed media artist and muralist based in northern California.
In his own stylistic form of hieroglyphs, Black uses tessellate shapes, symbols and color to construct a landscape that reads like a haiku and speaks to the viewer in pictographs. His mixed media work explores themes centered around interconnectedness, sustainability and even cultural mythology.
Through mural projects, art shows and curating events Mr. Black’s art work can be found through-out the US, Europe, Japan and beyond.
